Re-elect Jeff Craig & Phil Cirrone
Steady Leadership. Balanced Priorities. A Community That Thrives.
Steady Leadership. Balanced Priorities. A Community That Thrives.

Jeff and Phil believe we can — and must — do it all.
Our opponents are spreading rumors that we are not being good stewards of the Phase 2 restoration money and that an assessment is likely or even already planned. This is absolutely not true.
They are spreading these rumors because they know we are carefully watching over Phase 2 expenditures and that we are also watching over all aspects of our community and there is nothing they can do to refute this. So, they spread rumors and they lie.
When re-elected, we will continue to provide steady and dependable oversight to the reconstruction process. At both our Board Meetings and Town Halls, our treasurer has been reporting on the financial status of the project.
Beginning with the March Town Hall, a written version of the financial status will be incorporated into the slide deck. Additionally, we will link it to the Restoration shortcut on the website.
Our focus has been, and will continue to be: steady oversight, financial discipline, and the overall restoration of our community. Paseo needs balanced, predictable leadership and we are committed to continuing that work.
We are in the middle of one of the largest projects in our community’s history — a $60M reconstruction effort that is making progress. A number of significant discoveries have slowed the process, from corroded hurricane strapping to pervasive framing deterioration to significant defects of the windows and their framing. Unfortunately, these discoveries have impeded the project. We are now nearing the pace we had wanted to see. As you can see on the west side of our community, 11 buildings are under active restoration. And, we should soon see activity on the east side as we open up the second, promised construction front. Progress has been slower than we had wanted due to many unanticipated defects. Nonetheless, progress is being made.
Managing the project requires oversight, diligence, and accountability; however, reconstruction is not the only responsibility of the Board.
Landscaping, painting, pools, drainage, sidewalks, common areas, vendor management, reserves, and preventative maintenance all require steady attention. When routine maintenance falls behind, the entire community suffers and it ends up costing us more money.
Jeff and Phil have demonstrated that:
Jeff & Phil’s Approach
✔ Collaborative (working as a team)
✔ Inclusive (committees and professional involvement)
✔ Focused (strategic projects and daily operations)
✔ Communicative (regularly and transparently)
✔ Proud (improving the property during reconstruction)
The Alternative Approach
Some leadership styles prioritize a single objective above all else. While major litigation or reconstruction is important, focusing exclusively on one goal can allow other areas of the community to decline. Our association needs leaders who are focused — but never one-dimensional.
We are fortunate to have talented residents with construction backgrounds. That expertise is valuable.
However, overseeing a $60M project does not require sacrificing:
Jeff and Phil understand that reconstruction is a chapter — not the entire story of our community.
Since Jeff and Phil joined the Board:
Our community looks better — and is better positioned for the future.
If board leadership becomes overly focused on one issue, we risk:
This election is about preserving balance.
When reelected, Jeff and Phil commit to:
